Raising the steaks: Middletons Steakhouse and Grill

Tucked away around the corner from Milton Keynes’ popular restaurant quarter, The Hub, is one of the city’s lesser known eateries – and arguably one of its best steakhouses.

Middletons offers a strong menu, ranging from steaks and burgers to seafood and mixed grills – all served in an atmosphere that is welcoming and relaxing, whilst being draped in a cloak of sophistication and class.

The lunch special is definitely worth a shot if you’re visiting between 12pm-3pm (except Sunday’s) with the option of one (£7.95), two (£9.95) or three (£10.95) courses. Yes, this menu is slightly more limited but there is still a great array of options across all the courses.

If you fancy something a little more meaty, check out the steaks (there’s an 18oz Chateaubriand option, which would set you back £50) or one of the grills – such as the great value (and succulently tasty) Middletons Grill for under £20. We’d also recommend the mussels (available as a starter, main and on the lunch special menu) for those who prefer their surf to their turf!

Beyond the food, Middletons is blessed with attentive and friendly staff, quick service and (most importantly) great wine.

There’s also a kids menu (for the little ones) and a Sunday roast (on Sundays, obviously).

Middletons, 434 Midsummer Boulevard, MK9 2EA.
